Welcome to our new look website for 2006. We have looked at improving all aspects of our service to you and have made substantial changes to the original website which was launched back in 2004.

Cloghan Lodge Estate is the Biggest and Best Salmon Fishery on the very prolific wild salmon/sea trout river Finn System (Catchment area of 195 sq miles). Our catch statistics have been consistently high over the years. 2005 provided another fantastic year with 2,500 Salmon to the rod. You can also fish from up to 20 wild Lough’s such as the Finn, Shivnagh, Muck, Nambradden etc for Salmon, Brown Trout and Char.

The 'Gem of The Finn' has everything… pools and streams, wadding and bank fishing and on its day is almost certainly the finest stretch of Fly Fishing water for Atlantic salmon in Ireland!... probably Europe!... possibly the World!!

A-side from the fantastic fishing we also provide a range of activities from Game and Clay pigeon shooting to Corporate team building weekends and walking tours in the Bluestack Mountain range. An area of outstanding natural beauty with beautiful mountains, valleys, forna, flora and rivers. . . Paradise!! We can accommodate up to 27 people at the lodge which you can book online above.

Cloghan Lodge own all the fishing rights within the 250Km sq catchment area of the Upper Finn and Reelan valleys which includes all the rivers and tributary’s from the source lake at Finntown to within 3Km of Ballybofey.
